![SHOULD I SEND SAVE THE DATES IF MY PLANS MAY CHANGE?
With the slow-to-change/ever-changing gathering restrictions, it’s hard to know how many people you’ll be able to celebrate with for your late summer/fall wedding.
The question that keeps coming up is, should we still send our Save the Dates to the entire guest list?
It may be good to give your guests a heads up of your wedding date, but explain there may need to be a change. Wording on the save the date could be something like:
"Save our date! We are hoping to celebrate with our friends and family on [wedding date]! If we cannot safely gather, we will move our wedding to a future date when we can all celebrate together! Thank you for your flexibility and understanding in these times."
Or, if you want to make them a little lighthearted, you could say:
“Save our dream date! But please be aware that we may need plan B, C or D!”
“Love is very, very patient! Save our date, but if we can’t all celebrate together, we’ll wait until we can.”
How are you handling your save the dates/ invitation lists?
